What I Built
I built a spooky ghost chatbot that speaks like the spirit of an old haunted mansion. It runs on Gemma, an open-weight model, using Ollama. For the Ghost in the Machine theme, I made the AI itself the ghost.

The ghost is just a few lines of Python using the Ollama library, with a system prompt that tells Gemma to behave like a spooky ghost.
How I Built It
I used Google Colab on a tablet since I do not have a laptop. I installed Ollama, pulled the Gemma 1B model, and wrote a short Python script.
Why Does Open Innovation Matter?
Gemma is open-weight and free, so I could build this without paying for any API. Anyone can swap the model or change the ghost's personality just by editing one line.
