• Maintain via continuous professional development (CPD) - PeopleCert Plus membership and the associated CPD programme allow certified professionals to log CPD activity and meet a points threshold across the renewal window instead of retaking exams.
Each option has pros and cons. Retaking an exam proves current competence quickly but may not suit everyone. CPD-based renewal avoids exams but requires ongoing logging of activities and an active membership.

• Check your account - Log in to your PeopleCert account and check the Certifications tab for exact renewal dates. Don’t rely on memory.
• Decide a route - If you prefer formal reassessment, schedule a re-sit early. If you already do professional development, review the CPD route and the points required.
• Book or enrol early - Exams and accredited courses can have limited availability. Book in plenty of time to avoid an expiry gap.
