Personally, I don't like the idea to deliberately allow people to make mistakes that can be avoided.
Plus, I am sure that everyone (including me) will make a ton of mistakes on their own, without me having to allow or disallow it.
But he does have a valid point about the learning and fostering the independence of my teammates. The last thing I want to become is a bottleneck.
