My rule of "if it genuinely makes me laugh, it's ready." comes from the fact that if I'm not laughing on my own meme how can I be sure of a random person will laugh as well. If I find it relatable to laugh then maybe someone on the internet might find it funny as well.

Okay, the zero likes post landing right after the 572 one might be my favorite part of this. It means people weren't following you as a brand yet, they were judging every joke on its own merits, and that's weirdly comforting. Your laugh test is the same rule as using your own product before shipping it. If the builder won't laugh, nobody will.
I was also shocked to see that but life humbles you rather quickly. I learned and tried to improve my memes and their relatability. Maybe someday I'll be brand as a meme engineer.
