My workflow for shrinking massive Pexels PNGs into web ready JPEGs with zero visible quality loss (Refinedocs.com)

Hey everyone!

I've been banging my head against the wall for ages trying to optimize images for my website/portfolio. You know the drill: grab a beautiful, high-res PNG from Pexels, then watch your page load times crawl because the file size is absolutely massive. It's a constant struggle to get crisp images without sacrificing speed.

Well, I think I finally cracked a simple, effective workflow that's been a game changer for me.

Here’s what I've been doing:
1. Download the PNG from Pexels. (Self explanatory, right?)
2. Convert the PNG to a JPEG. While PNGs are great for transparency, JPEGs are generally much smaller for photographic content and perform better on the web. There are tons of free converters out there, I just use whatever's quick for this step.
3. Compress the JPEG using Refinedocs.com. This is where the magic really happens! I discovered their "Compress images" tool on their site (you can see the menu in the second screenshot). I just upload my newly converted JPEGs.

Seriously, the compression rates are insane. I'm regularly seeing 70-80% reductions, sometimes even higher (check out the first screenshot for some of the results!). What's even better is that for web display, there's no visible quality loss to my eye. Everything still looks sharp and professional, but the files are tiny. My site speed (and my sanity!) has thanked me.

It's cut down so much time I used to spend faffing around with different settings or slower desktop apps.

Has anyone else used Refinedocs for this, or do you have a go-to workflow for getting your images web ready without losing quality? Would love to hear your thoughts or other recommendations!
