Starting My Journey Into Tech (For Real This Time)

I’m a student from India with a deep fascination for technology and computers — something that’s been with me since childhood.

For a long time, I couldn’t do much about it. School, studies, and life kept me away. But now that I’m heading to college, I’ve decided to finally commit to what I truly love.

I’ve been using Linux for the past two years, and I absolutely love the philosophy behind it — the minimalism, the control, and the power of open-source. That’s what inspired me to start my programming journey with C.

Why C? Because it teaches you how the machine really works. I want to understand the low-level stuff — memory, systems, how code becomes reality. I believe struggling with an old-school language like C will make me appreciate modern languages like Rust and Go even more as I explore them later.

My dream is to contribute to open-source projects and maybe even get into something like Google Summer of Code one day. I also plan to explore fields like cybersecurity and see where my curiosity takes me.

If you stick around, this blog will be a raw, honest journal of a beginner figuring things out — mistakes, doubts, small wins and all.

I hope it helps someone else feel less alone in their own journey too.
