Introduction to HTML&CSS

This is the my first class.I started with html&css.

HTML

*HTML stands for hyper text markup language.
*It is used to create webpage and structure of the content.
*HTML consists series of a element
*HTML elements tell the browser how to display the content.

What is markup language?

A markup language is a set of symbols inserted in a text document to control its structure and formating.

CSS

*CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets
*CSS describes how HTML elements are to be displayed on screen, paper, or in other media
*CSS saves a lot of work. It can control the layout of multiple web pages all at once
External stylesheets are stored in CSS files
