Why I'm participating in MongoDB Atlas Hackathon ?

I am a Final year at RTU kota , pursuing B.TECH. in Computer Science and engineering. I love to make something useful out of Tech. I was working with some idea , during discussions with my friend @gulshanaggarwal he told me about this Hackathon and i decided to give it a shot.

What I built using MongoDB

"I am gonna change the System , Not the education system😜"

A multipurpose management system for Rajasthan Technical University's Teachers and Students.

Category Submission(Why choose one when there are many):

Think Outside the JS Box- If I had to chose one

  • Think Outside the JS Box( Flutter, Dart a cross platform framework)
  • Google Cloud Superstar (Using Firebase which uses GCP😊)
  • Choose Your Own Adventure:
  1. Used Azure for Microsoft Identity Platform while integrating Login with university Emails.🚩
  2. First Time using MongoDB and Firebase together.πŸ™Œ
  3. Working with QRs .😊
  4. Building something for college, no greed .πŸŽƒ

Background

(What made you decide to build this particular app? What inspired you?)

πŸ’₯ I was working on a app to mark someone's attendance Easy and with lowest chance for proxies.
πŸ’₯As i have seen , in our college we use Google forms, Papers, for managing attendance and various data in DECA,etc.( Not good methods )
πŸ’₯Earlier i was trying to work with geolocation matching but it was not that accurate and had some drawbacks so i looked for other methods and found that QR can be a good solution for this. Thats why I made this.β€πŸ’—β€

How I built it

(How did you utilize MongoDB Atlas? Did you learn something new along the way? Pick up a new skill?)

πŸ’₯I am utilizing the Flexibility and NOSQL nature of MongoDB as its allowing for faster parsing of the data. Data stored in BSON can be searched and indexed, tremendously increasing performance.`
πŸ’₯I learned about Atlas and its features, Planning to use Geo location queries in Future.
