I'm all about the intersection of technology and mental health with a current focus on open source workflow tools for residential treatment centers. Just happy to be here :)
I completely agree! I still get surprised by the collaboration and transparency in this field. Itβs helped me see how limiting the independent/private/for-profit mindset is in so many other industries.
My current passion project is trying to explain to my coworkers (mental health therapists) how we could open source clinical documentation in a HIPAA-compliant, useful manner. Itβs a nerve-wracking thing to reveal and get feedback on work and process but hey, still cheaper than most CEU workshops anyway π But really, counselors are wasting huge opportunities for increased awareness, growth, self-efficacy in clinical skills, collaboration, diversity, and networking support... and I use to be completely oblivious to it!
Dang dev. culture... absolutely ruined my ignorant bliss with it all...
Anyway, sorry to ramble but loved your appreciation to start the morning. Thank you!
