Paiylagam Institute, they conducted a mock interview. It was my first interview experience in the IT field
Before the interview, I felt very nervous and had a bit of panic. I was worried about how I would face the HR and how I would interact fully in English.
First Round – Group Discussion (GD)
In the first round, we had a Group Discussion.
My Payilagam team encouraged a lot. They reminded:
In front of you is also a human, don’t panic. What you know, just tell without fear.
Our GD topic was “Social Media – Positivity and Negativity”.
My team members performed very well & rock , and I also got a chance to speak confidently for the first time. It was a nice experience.
Second Round – One-on-One Interview
The second round was a one-on-one interview with HR Thiru sir. He was a very sweet person.
When I entered the room, I decided to speak only in English. Whatever I knew in English, I spoke continuously without hesitation.
The HR asked me lots of theoretical and practical questions, and I was able to explain very well. For the first time, I felt like I had proved myself and also gathered some new knowledge from this interview.
What I Learned from the Mock Interview
How to learn English – Use apps like Duolingo, Cake, Copilot, Josh Talks.
