A Personal Milestone 🚩
Before diving into the code, I want to share something personal. This project marks my very first participation in a global developer event.
As a Web Design & Coding student, stepping into the Google AI Challenge was both exciting and intimidating. It wasn't just about building a website; it was about testing my limits, facing real-world errors, and proving to myself that I can build on the Cloud. This challenge has been an unforgettable experience for my journey as a developer.
About Me 🥋
Hi there! I'm Ali, a Web Design & Coding student.
I love clean code, dark aesthetics, and simplicity. While the industry rushes toward complex frameworks, I decided to follow the Path of the Ronin. My philosophy is simple: Master the blade before wielding heavy armor.
With this portfolio, I went back to basics. No bloat, no unnecessary scripts—just hand-crafted code hosted directly on Google Cloud. I built this project to prove that simplicity—and a strong foundation—is the ultimate sophistication.
Portfolio: LaqStudio 🏯
This isn't just a website; it's my digital dojo. It showcases my projects in a clean, distraction-free environment.

How I Built It 🛠️
Tech Stack
I chose a minimalist stack to ensure maximum performance and total control over the design.
- Frontend: HTML5 & CSS3 (No React, No Tailwind. Just pure, hand-crafted code.)
- Hosting: Google Cloud Storage (GCS) for Serverless Static Hosting.
- Tools: VS Code, Git.
Google AI Integration 🤖
I interacted with Google Gemini more like a companion than just a coding tool. While I handled the fundamentals myself, I received a good amount of assistance. Considering how much we will use AI in the future, establishing this collaborative workflow was a great experience.
- The Content: It helped me refine the English texts to match the philosophical "Ronin" tone of the site.
What I'm Most Proud Of 🏆
1. Pure Code, Hand-Crafted
I am proud that I built this project using pure HTML and CSS. I wrote every line of code myself to fully understand flexbox, grid, and responsive design principles.
2. The "Ronin" Aesthetic
I didn't just use a standard template. I designed the dark theme, the neon accents, and the typography to reflect the "Cyberpunk Samurai" vibe I love—inspired by games like Cyberpunk 2077.
What's Next? 🔮
This portfolio is just the beginning. My roadmap is clear:
- Deepen the Foundations: Continue mastering JavaScript logic.
- The AI Transition: My ultimate goal is to merge web technologies with Artificial Intelligence, creating smarter, interactive web experiences.
- More Projects: I plan to fill my "Dojo" with more experiments soon.
Final Thoughts 💭
Building LaqStudio taught me that you don't always need the latest framework to build something cool. Sometimes, all you need is a text editor, a browser, and the willingness to learn.
If you are a student like me, don't be afraid to get your hands dirty with the basics. The Cloud is not as scary as it looks—once you get past the permissions settings! 😄
