LeeX was created around a simple observation: cities are full of places, businesses, events and opportunities, but discovering them is not always easy. Yet knowing that these places exist is not the same as being able to easily discover them. Someone moving into a new neighborhood may not know the best restaurants nearby. A visitor may not know which hotel is close to an event venue. A student may not know which supermarkets, gyms or pharmacies are around a university. A football fan attending a major match may not know what restaurants, hotels or transportation options are near the stadium. A business owner may have a physical shop that many potential customers simply do not know exists. These are examples of the discovery problem that LeeX is designed to explore. The problem is not necessarily that the places do not exist. The problem is that they can be difficult to discover, understand and connect. This is why LeeX is not limited to traditional business listings. The vision includes the broader environment in which businesses and people operate. LeeX Beta represents the early-stage foundation for this vision. The beta phase provides an opportunity to develop the platform, build location information, organize listings, understand users and establish the systems needed for a larger ecosystem. The long-term vision extends beyond the beta into more advanced forms of location intelligence and eventually LeeXAI, the artificial intelligence direction of the LeeX ecosystem.
