Ever needed to send someone a file just once β and make it disappear after that?
Well, I did. A lot. So I built ikat.id. π
π§ What's the deal?
- π€ No login. No signups. No nonsense.
- π₯ Upload up to 50GB per file
- β³ Auto-expires after a single download or a custom time limit (you decide)
- πͺ Just worksβ’ β like magic, but without the wand.
π€ Why?
I got tired of helping people figure out how to share large files once without creating accounts or dealing with messy cloud platforms.
So I said screw it β letβs build something dead-simple. Clean UI. No analytics. No cookies. No "please sign up" popups.
Just upload, send, done.
π οΈ Under the hood:
- Node.js + Express β classic backend power
- Multer β handles all the file uploads
- Sequelize + PostgreSQL β robust data storage
- EJS β bringing back server-side rendering nostalgia
- Bootstrap 5 (Dark mode) β because light mode is a war crime π₯²
π§ͺ Try it out
