πŸš€ Just Launched: ikat.id β€” One-Time File Sharing, No Strings Attached

Ever needed to send someone a file just once β€” and make it disappear after that?
Well, I did. A lot. So I built ikat.id. 😎

🧠 What's the deal?

  • πŸ“€ No login. No signups. No nonsense.
  • πŸ”₯ Upload up to 50GB per file
  • ⏳ Auto-expires after a single download or a custom time limit (you decide)
  • πŸͺ„ Just worksβ„’ β€” like magic, but without the wand.

πŸ€” Why?

I got tired of helping people figure out how to share large files once without creating accounts or dealing with messy cloud platforms.
So I said screw it β€” let’s build something dead-simple. Clean UI. No analytics. No cookies. No "please sign up" popups.
Just upload, send, done.

πŸ› οΈ Under the hood:

  • Node.js + Express – classic backend power
  • Multer – handles all the file uploads
  • Sequelize + PostgreSQL – robust data storage
  • EJS – bringing back server-side rendering nostalgia
  • Bootstrap 5 (Dark mode) – because light mode is a war crime πŸ₯²

πŸ§ͺ Try it out

I’d love feedback, ideas, feature requests, memes, or even just a bug report.

If you’re also into shipping weird but useful stuff, let’s connect.
