Fixed: LinkedIn video posts now work for every video format in LSE Omni-Channel Marketing.
As of today, October 15, 2026, a video you schedule or post to LinkedIn is converted to the format LinkedIn requires before it is sent, so your video goes out instead of failing. The fix is live for every customer.
What went wrong
Some LinkedIn video posts failed with a "not found" error and nothing was published. The cause was on our side. When you post an image, the platform first prepares it for the network you are posting to. For video on LinkedIn, that preparation step was missing: the platform tried to hand LinkedIn your original file, which it could not retrieve, and LinkedIn only accepts MP4 video in any case. Image posts to LinkedIn were not affected, and the networks that already prepared video before posting were not affected by this problem.
What we changed
What you need to do
Nothing. If a LinkedIn video post failed for you recently, post it again or reschedule it and it will go through. You do not need to re-upload or convert anything yourself.
How we found it
A user posting a short WebM reel to several networks at once saw it publish on Pinterest but not on LinkedIn, where only an image post went out. We traced the failure to the missing conversion step in the LinkedIn connection, added it, tested the conversion on the same video, and rolled the fix out to our Atlanta and Ashburn locations.
