if an open source crowdfunded project is approached by big tech, what should they do? will big tech cash turn fully open source project into evil? Is there an inherent conflict in taking money from software monopolies? i'm talking about a specific project that runs fully locally on user devices and has access to all user personal data. can big tech lead to manipulation of user trust, or will it actually ensure that privacy and security of local user data is maintained long-term?
