This is a submission for the World's Largest Hackathon Writing Challenge: Building with Bolt.
From Legal Void to Legal Vision
Hey! I am Manvi Sharda, a second year law student from India! Speedy Justice was born in a gap. Literally!!
Right after my 12th boards and before law school began, I fell into a post-exam void. It was quiet. Almost too quiet. And then I stumbled across something that changed everything —a post about how the number of cases in India was increasing day by day. That caught me off guard. In a time when tech was revolutionizing every field, why was law left behind?
I fell down the rabbit hole, and one word stood out: LegalTech.
My vision
From that day, I could not stop thinking: What if I could use AI to help lawyers move faster? What if legal workflows weren't that...manual?
And my idea is grounded in a big, hairy, audacious goal:
TO MAKE JUSTICE FASTER, FAIRER, MORE ACCESSIBLE- STARTING WITH INDIAN LAWYERS AND SCALING TO UNDESERVED COMMUNITIES
Building IT with Bolt (As a law student?!)
Now, here is the twist- I'm not a developer. But I am a builder. And Bolt helped me bridge that gap.
My Hardest moment?
Tokens.
Literally. The fear of using all the 'free' tokens before completing my project was real.
What I learnt?
You don't need a CS degree to build something powerful.
What is next?
Eventually making tools for the underrepresented to fight legal delays.
Because yes--this is about justice!
Final note
I am a solo law student.
No dev team. No funding. Just a laptop, a stubborn vision, and Bolt.
Speedy Justice is my first step towards revolutionizing the practice of law in India!
Try it out. Break it. Send feedback.
I am just getting started...
