About Me
I am Marouane EL-HAMDAOUI, a Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence student. I’ve dedicated my academic journey to mastering the intersection of system design, full-stack development, and emerging AI trends.
My goal for this challenge was to evolve my digital presence from a standard portfolio into a dynamic, living showcase that reflects the new year. This site represents my technical journey, experience and projects.

How I Built It
For this challenge, I didn't just update my CSS; I overhauled my entire development workflow to be AI-first, leveraging the power of Gemini models through Google's newest tools.
The Tech Stack
- Frontend: React 19 (utilizing the new React Compiler), TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
- Animations: AOS for scroll-triggered interactions.
- Infrastructure: Fully containerized using a multi-stage Dockerfile and deployed on Google Cloud Run for serverless efficiency and scalability.
- The Google AI Edge: Antigravity & Gemini 3
I utilized Antigravity, Google's AI-first development environment, to act as my "Staff Engineer" during the build. By integrating the latest Gemini model directly into my IDE, I achieved a level of productivity that wasn't possible before:
- Deep Repository Analysis: I tasked the Antigravity agents with performing a full analysis of my existing repository. They identified architectural bottlenecks and helped me refactor my folder structure to be more modular and maintainable.
- Agentic Feature Implementation: Instead of manual coding, I worked collaboratively with Gemini-powered agents to scaffold the new Achievements and News sections. I provided the high-level design vision, while the agents handled the complex state management and responsive implementation logic.
- Visual Evolution: The "2026 Tech Trend" look featuring dark-mode glassmorphism and refined typography, was iterated on through a collaborative vibe-coding process with the AI, allowing for rapid experimentation with complex CSS patterns.
What I'm Most Proud Of
From a technical standpoint, I’m proud of the Agentic Workflow. Navigating this challenge through Antigravity allowed me to experience the next paradigm of software engineering: a world where developers act as orchestrators, guiding autonomous agents and advanced Gemini models to build high-quality, production-ready systems on Google Cloud.
