A good list, here is one from me:
Myth: Programmers are sitting focused in front of the computer for 8h every day, solving complex tasks.

Fact: Programmers are focused for about 4 or 5 hours per day. They read and answer emails, attend meetings, answer calls, etc. Day-to-day job is dynamic and it is hard to expect to be focused the whole day.

You are entirely correct. Some people even think that the more hours you put in, the more work you'll get done. However, often the opposite is true.

We've all been there - you're banging your head against the keyboard on your 10th hour of debugging, and you're not getting anywhere. You finally close your laptop and go home. The next day, you solve the problem in 15 minutes. To solve complex problems, you need a clear mind and a well-rested head.

Thank you for you contribution!

Agree 100%. I wish more people and companies realize that clear and rested mind help a lot in a day to day work.
