MacBook Pro screenshot shortcut delayed by 2-10s [solved]

Have you been experiencing an issue where you press Cmd+Shift+4 for the screenshot tool, but it doesn't show up? Then sometimes shows up 5-10s later when you're doing something else?

Here's how to fix that:

1. Open the screenshot tool with options Cmd+Shift+5
2. Select one of the two video capture options
3. Click Options
4. Under Microphone, select None

All done.
