Connect ChatGPT to website analytics when you want the assistant to inspect the data behind a landing-page problem.

The Clics plugin connects ChatGPT to analytics stats, sessions, goals, and funnels. Add Clics from Plugins, sign in, and select the workspace.

Start with a decision

Ask for the top landing pages over a fixed period. Compare visitors, bounce rate, and available conversions.

Choose one page with enough traffic and a clear intended action.

Open the sessions

Ask ChatGPT to list sessions that started on that page.

Review the page and event sequences. Look for a repeated point where visitors leave or take an unexpected route.

A pattern can tell you where to investigate. It cannot prove why people behaved that way.

Check the measurement

Confirm that the intended outcome has a page or event goal.

For a multistep journey, create a funnel with two to seven steps and a conversion window.

Ask ChatGPT to calculate step-to-step completion and isolate the largest drop.

Include AI traffic carefully

Clics AI Analytics groups identifiable referrals from documented AI assistants when the HTTP referrer is available.

The MCP documentation lists stats, sessions, goals, and funnels, but no separate AI Analytics or crawler tool.

Use the dashboard’s AI view to identify the provider and landing page. Use ChatGPT to investigate the supported visitor and conversion data around that page.

Crawler requests belong in a separate server-side report. They show automated discovery, not human sessions or conversions.

Finish with a test

Ask ChatGPT for one hypothesis tied to the data and one change to test.

A useful answer names the page, the observed pattern, the affected segment, and the next action.
