I'm a software engineer with 19 years of experience, last 8 years in JavaScript, last 5 years react. And I hate CSS. I prefer to write logic, take care of performance. But CSS is a pain.
I also prefer to use CSS-IN-JS solution.
And I think it has nothing to do if someone IS or IS NOT a frontend dev. We don't have to love all parts of technology stack as long as we know what for we use them and use best practices on daily bases.
