Most indie teams spend all their time on store screenshots and trailers, then get blocked by the official site and privacy page.
We built review material for three self-developed games. The same issues came up:
- The store backend needs a public privacy policy URL.
- Every SDK and permission must match what the game actually does.
- The site must load over HTTPS and explain who you are within 30 seconds.
Privacy page: five things
- What data is collected and why
- Which permissions are requested and why
- Which third-party SDKs collect data
- How users delete data or close their account
- A working contact email
Store review kit
- Public privacy URL
- Support URL
- Screenshots and icon
- Data safety / permission notes
- Release notes and a test account if needed
No one can guarantee approval. What we can do is make the material match the review requirements.
We put the process into a service page:

Before your next submission, check the five privacy items above.
