I'm a friendly, non-dev, cisgender guy from NC who enjoys playing music/making noise, hiking, eating veggies, and hanging out with my best friend/wife + our 3 kitties + 1 greyhound.
My big challenge this month is to participate in Veganuary — eating only vegan food this month.
I've technically already lost 😅 because I helped to destroy an open thing of cheddar cheese that we had already gotten — it just seemed too wasteful (and delicious 😝) to throw it out, haha! But we're not buying any new animal products for the month.
Aside from Veganuary, I'm doing this 22 day ab workout (really mostly a mind-muscle connection kinda workout) along with alternating leg and arm days to get in better shape — a lot of it is compound moves and body-weight exercises like push-ups & pull-ups + squats & deadlifts. I have a ski trip at the end of the month, and while I'm not fooled into thinking I'm going to get ripped ahead of the trip, I just wanna get my mind & body communicating a bit better so that I feel as in control as possible as I'm barreling down the Colorado mountains with long slabs of wood attached to the bottom of each foot. 😅
French web developer mainly but touches everything. Volunteer mod here at DEV. I learn Nuxt at this moment and databases. — Addict to Cappuccino and Music
Oh that is cool! And noo for the Cheddar, it's better to eat than to throw away, that's totally understandable! Great motivation for the muscles, good "luck"! (I think?)
