NIST takes identity post quantum. Audit records must follow

Audit records need post-quantum protection for the same reason identity credentials do: both must still be provable on the day quantum computers arrive.

NIST's June 2026 working drafts bring ML-DSA and ML-KEM into the Personal Identity Verification standards. We explain why the audit records that prove what AI systems did deserve the same quantum-resistant protection from day one.
