Binance Liquidation Map: How to Read and Use the Heatmap for Trade Entry

The Binance liquidation map (liquidation heatmap) visualizes where leveraged positions will be forcibly closed at various price levels. Understanding it turns a seemingly random market into a readable map of where price is likely to be attracted.

How to Read the Heatmap Colors

The heatmap uses a color gradient — bright/hot colors represent high liquidation density, cool colors represent thin areas.

  • Hot zones above price = short liquidations: Sweeping these causes short squeezes
  • Hot zones below price = long liquidations: Sweeping these causes long liquidation cascades
  • Cool zones: Low density — price moves through these areas without triggering large cascades

The CryptoSystems.ai liquidation heatmap uses a 15-minute rolling window of real Binance data, updating continuously.

Predicted Liquidation Levels

Standard heatmaps show historical liquidations. CryptoSystems.ai extends this with predicted liquidation levels — projecting where the largest clusters sit based on current open positions, before liquidations occur.

These predicted levels are shown as horizontal lines on the chart. They're high-probability price targets because:

  1. The market tends to sweep available liquidity before major reversals
  2. Large players often push price toward these zones deliberately
  3. Once swept, the forced-close buying/selling creates sharp, tradeable moves

Using the Liquidation Map for Trade Entry

Scenario 1: Long entry near long liquidation cluster
Price approaches a dense cluster of long liquidations from above. You expect a sweep: price drops briefly (a sharp wick), triggers liquidations, then reverses. Enter long after the wick, stop below the cluster.

Scenario 2: Short entry at short liquidation cluster
Price rallies into a dense cluster of short liquidations. The squeeze is nearly exhausted — forced buying running out. Enter short as price exits the cluster.

Scenario 3: Stay out
If price sits between two large clusters with no clear directional signal, the map tells you to wait. Price will be volatile but directionless until one cluster gets swept.

CoinGlass vs. CryptoSystems Liquidation Map

CoinGlass: Visualization only. Shows historical liquidation data. No trading integration, no AI, no automation.

CryptoSystems.ai: Visualization + predicted levels + AI signal generation + automated trading. The heatmap is one component of a 3-signal alignment system that includes AI market analysis and gravity zone detection.

Gravity Zones: The Next Level

Beyond standard clusters, CryptoSystems.ai identifies gravity zones — areas where cumulative liquidation pressure creates statistically elevated probability of price attraction.

The AI trading bot uses gravity zones as primary entry/exit triggers. View live gravity zones on the dashboard — accessible without registration.
