This year, Hacktoberfest was a game-changer for me! 🎉 It gave me the perfect opportunity to dive into the world of open-source, and I haven’t looked back since.
Starting out with my first PR in CSS felt like a great way to get my feet wet, and from there, things took off. My second PR was a TypeScript challenge, and then I stepped into even more complex projects in Go and Ruby for my third and fourth contributions. 💪
I can honestly say that Hacktoberfest is what helped me kickstart my open-source journey and taught me how to work on real-world projects. It's been an amazing experience, learning new languages and tackling challenges I didn’t think I could! 🚀
