I really like the concept of Lenses. It totally makes sense.

It is true that we have lots of technologies to choose from but the real question is what problem are we trying to solve with those technologies.

For example:
Quantum Computing, its awesome technology but what are we trying to solve or to achieve using that tech.
I tried some of the steps that you have mentioned in the above post to understand the innovation process. It is incomplete but its first attempt to understand the process.

1.Idea Thinking :

Problem/Trends: Global Warming
-Super Computers increases heat footprint Global Warming

2 Idea Creation: Innovations in Quantum Computing which uses less power to operate

Thanks for your feedback.

I honestly believe you step too soon to step 2.

You started with the lens trend and see the global warming as a fair issue. If you believe that's the problem where you can come up with an idea. Then dive very deep in the other lenses, you took now Super Computers as a solution the global warming, but maybe there are other with more impact, for a larger target group and then with which technology can you solve it?

I hope you understand my answer.
