I built an open-source dashboard that shows which dev and security technologies are established and which are gaining traction on GitHub.
DevSec Status tracks programming languages, frameworks, databases, AI tools, Linux distributions and security tools. For GitHub-hosted projects, each entry shows the linked repository’s stars and 30-day momentum.
How it works: a GitHub Actions workflow queries the GitHub Search API every 6 hours and commits the results as static JSON. No backend, no sign-up. Dark and light themes, 9 languages.
The lists are curated by hand, so gaps are expected. If something is missing or mislabeled, an issue or a small pull request is all it takes. If you find it useful, a GitHub star helps others discover it.
