On 2 June 2026, GDRFA Dubai and the Dubai Health Authority signed an MoU to jointly develop a "Smart Medical Visa" for international patients travelling to Dubai for treatment. It has been announced but is not yet live: no application form, no confirmed launch date, no published fee. The current medical treatment visit visa route, issued by a licensed UAE health facility, is still the process to use today.
