Hi Dev community!
I realize I haven't been as active as I have hoped and I wanted to update on my progress.
Right now...
As you might have guessed, I'm struggling in my second year as a programmer, especially trying to become proficient in algorithms and logarithms at the same time as understanding CPU architectures and the wonders of C programming. I'm finding it difficult to keep up but I want to improve on my time management ability so I can really enjoy my courses (and college life too!)
New position!
However I'm excited to announce that I joined the Robotics Research Lab at my University! I'm really looking forward to working on more embedded systems projects and getting my hands dirty with hardware, learning how to use an Arduino, and how to connect figures like web traffic to a physical number counter to display it. I hope to finish this project and start working on another haptics project my mentor has ready for me once I finish this one. Not only is this lab hands on, but it helps people like me with little experience work at my own pace, and gain help at every step, not to mention how kind everyone is in the lab! Hopefully this experience will help me stand out to recruiters and land an internship in Summer 2026.
I hope to start actually posting my projects and code soon, but first I have a mountain of assignments and studying to finish!
