This is a submission for the Hacktoberfest Open-Source AI Challenge Week 4: Ghost in the Machine
Tried making something with Gemma!
I missed the other challenges because of exams and stuff, but I didn’t want to skip this one too.
So I tried making something with Gemma and ended up with AFTERIMAGE.EXE.
The idea is pretty simple. You enter a few random memory fragments, pick a mood, and Gemma turns them into a short story. It’s based on this week’s theme, Ghost in the Machine.
I used Gemma 3 1B with Ollama, and Flask for the backend.
Honestly, I’m still figuring things out and the project is pretty small right now. But it was a good excuse to try Gemma and actually build something instead of just thinking about it.
That’s pretty much it. Still a work in progress.
