Nicely explained. I have been using this method using an older Tp Link router. One thing that I have in my Tp Link router is WDS Mode. By default it is set to Automatic. But I have seen it cause problems with some base routers when using automatic option. For such cases I set the mode to WDS 1 or WDS 2 for a stable link between two routers.
