A Prompt Library for Summer-Themed Anime Art (23 Copy-Paste Templates for PixAI)
Prompt engineering for image generation follows the same logic as prompt engineering for text: constrain the setting, keep the variables explicit, and let the model do less improvisation, not more. Summer is a good theme to demonstrate this with, because the setting itself (beach, festival, fireworks) already carries most of the visual information. You don't need to over-specify lighting, color, or mood, the season gives it to you for free.
This post is a set of 23 tested prompt templates for anime-style image generation on PixAI, organized by scene type, plus one multi-panel comic template at the end. Every prompt was run against the Tsubaki.2 model and the results are noted inline, including where the model deviated from the literal prompt so you can account for it.
Setup
Each template below is written as plain natural-language prompt text (Tsubaki.2 parses natural language reliably, no special tag syntax required for most of these). Treat the character description as a variable: swap it out, everything else in the template holds.
If you want a character to persist across multiple generations instead of retyping the description each time, use Reference Pro with a reference image. First time using the generator, the PixAI walkthrough covers the panel.
A general note on prompt structure: some of these templates are written as full sentences, some as comma-separated tags. Both work. I kept the mix intentional so you can see there's no single required format, the model handles either.
Beach scene prompts
Sunny beach portrait:
A cheerful girl with chin-length seafoam-green hair and light freckles,
wearing a wide-brim straw hat and a white sundress over a simple
one-piece swimsuit, crouching to pick up a seashell on pale golden sand.
Clear turquoise water behind her, bright midday sun, a soft breeze,
anime illustration, best quality

Output tends to frame tight and pose the action as already-completed rather than in-motion. Append full body, wide shot if you need more environment in frame.
Ocean sunset:
Warm orange and pink sunset over a calm ocean, a boy with tousled
sandy-blond hair in a loose linen shirt and rolled-up trousers standing
barefoot at the water's edge, hands in his pockets, looking out to sea.
Long shadows, gentle waves, cinematic anime style
Tropical seaside walk:
1girl, long coral-pink hair in a side braid, sun hat, a sarong wrapped
over a swimsuit, holding a melting ice cream cone, walking along a
palm-lined wooden boardwalk, bright tropical afternoon, dappled shade,
anime coloring
Beach picnic with a friend:
Two friends sharing a beach picnic on a red checkered blanket under a
striped parasol, slices of watermelon and cold drinks between them,
one of them laughing, gentle waves in the background, warm afternoon
light, relaxed summer mood, anime illustration
Seaside OC showcase:
Full body, an original character with teal hair in twin buns wearing a
bright athletic rash guard and board shorts, carrying a surfboard under
one arm, confident stance on wet sand, clean seaside background, even
lighting, detailed anime style
Yukata and festival prompts
Yukata evening portrait:
A calm girl in a navy-blue yukata patterned with white morning glories
and a red obi, her hair in a low bun with a small floral hair ornament,
holding a folded paper fan, standing on a festival street lined with
glowing paper lanterns at dusk, soft warm light, anime illustration

This one hit near-exact on the first pass, pattern, obi, fan, and lantern street all rendered as specified. Good reference point for how literal the model can be when the prompt is unambiguous.
Festival street at night:
A lively summer festival street at night, rows of red paper lanterns
overhead, food stalls selling takoyaki and shaved ice, warm glowing
signs, a light crowd in yukata, wooden stalls, festive atmosphere,
wide shot, detailed anime background
Goldfish scooping:
A boy in a light gray yukata crouched at a goldfish-scooping stall,
holding a paper scoop over a glowing tank of orange goldfish, focused
with a small smile, lanterns reflecting on the water, warm night
light, anime style
Candy apple stall:
1girl, mint-green yukata with a yellow obi, a fox festival mask pushed
up on her forehead, holding a bright red candy apple, cheerful
expression, festival stalls blurred behind her, evening, soft bokeh
lights, anime coloring
Friends at the festival:
Three friends in colorful yukata walking together down a festival
path, each holding a summer snack, laughing mid-conversation, paper
lanterns strung overhead, warm night glow, lively group composition,
anime illustration

Multi-subject prompts describing motion tend to resolve as a static group instead. If you need visible motion, add walking, mid-stride explicitly rather than relying on the verb alone.
Festival thumbnail (VTuber-ready):
A bright, expressive character in a bold red-and-white yukata striking
a playful pose with a big cheerful smile, one hand raised, a vivid
festival background with lanterns, high-contrast colors, open space on
the left for text, eye-catching anime thumbnail style
Fireworks and night scene prompts
Fireworks over the festival:
Huge colorful fireworks blooming over a summer festival at night, a
crowd of small silhouettes watching from a hillside, a river below
reflecting the bursts of light, deep blue sky, warm festival glow at
the base, wide cinematic anime scene
Watching from the riverbank:
Two girls in soft lavender yukata sitting on a riverbank railing with
their backs to the viewer, looking up as fireworks light the sky, warm
bokeh and reflections on the water, a gentle night breeze in their
hair, quiet wonder, anime illustration

Worth flagging as a general pattern: the model biases toward front-facing subjects even when the prompt explicitly requests a back view. If a true back view matters, reinforce it with seen from behind, faces not visible.
Close-up with fireworks bokeh:
Close-up portrait of a character's face turned upward, eyes wide with
wonder, colorful fireworks bokeh filling the dark background, soft
multicolored light on their skin, a gentle smile, shallow depth of
field, anime style
Group under the night sky:
A group of four friends lying side by side on a picnic blanket in a
grassy field at night, looking up at a sky full of stars and distant
fireworks, relaxed and happy, soft rim light, calm summer night, anime
illustration
Quiet evening together:
Two people sitting close on a wooden bench overlooking a bay, one
gently resting their head on the other's shoulder, distant fireworks
over the water, warm lantern light beside them, a tender and peaceful
summer evening, anime style
Couple, OC, and VTuber prompts
These are built around specific output constraints (frame composition, negative space, aspect intent) rather than just scene description, useful if you're generating assets for a specific layout.
OC summer showcase:
An original character shown full body in a summer outfit, a breezy
off-white blouse, denim shorts, and sandals, standing in a relaxed
pose against a clean pastel gradient background, even studio lighting,
clear detail for showing off the design, anime illustration
Couple sharing shaved ice:
A cute couple sharing a single bowl of colorful shaved ice with two
spoons at a small summer cafe, leaning in close and smiling,
condensation on the glass, a bright airy interior, warm afternoon
light through the window, wholesome mood, anime style
Friend group by the coast:
Four friends riding bikes along a coastal road on a summer morning,
wind in their hair, ocean and blue sky beside them, a sense of
motion, cheerful energy, wide shot, bright clean anime illustration
VTuber thumbnail:
A character with big expressive eyes and an excited open-mouth smile
leaning toward the camera and pointing at the viewer, a bright summer
background with a beach and blue sky, bold saturated colors, strong
rim light, generous empty space on the right for a title, anime
thumbnail style

High output quality on this one, but the model auto-filled the reserved negative space with decorative text instead of leaving it clear. If you're compositing a title into that space yourself, add plain background on the right, no text or you'll be fighting generated text in post.
Profile banner:
Wide banner composition, a small figure of a character standing on a
grassy hill under a vast summer sky with drifting clouds and a distant
coastline, lots of open sky for a name or logo, soft warm palette,
peaceful, anime landscape illustration
Social campaign hero shot:
A single striking character centered in frame, wearing a flowing
summer dress caught in the wind, sunflowers around her, golden hour
backlight, strong central composition with clean margins for text
overlay, vibrant and polished anime style
Bonus: multi-panel comic generation
PixAI can generate a short multi-panel comic from a single prompt, holding character consistency across panels and leaving speech bubbles empty for manual text insertion. Useful if you're producing recurring social content and don't want to composite panels manually.
4-panel comic:
4-panel anime comic. Girl with short black hair, blue eyes, yellow
hoodie. 1) Walking with ice cream. 2) Bumps into a dog, drops ice
cream. 3) Dog catches it, girl cries comically. 4) Dog gives her a
flower, both smile. Consistent character, manga panels, empty speech
bubbles

Character consistency held across all four panels in testing, and speech bubbles rendered empty as specified. One limitation worth noting: fast, single-beat actions between panels (the ice cream drop, specifically) can get skipped in the generated sequence. Keep each panel's action description explicit and singular rather than implying it.
Modifying these templates
A short list of the variables worth changing first:
- Character description: swap hair, eyes, and one or two signature items to make any template your own OC.
- Setting: the same character block works across beach, festival, and fireworks settings without touching anything else.
-
Camera framing:
close-up,full body, wide shoteach change what the model prioritizes in composition. -
Time and mood:
golden hourversuscool blue nightshifts the entire lighting profile with minimal token cost. - Consistency: a reference image outperforms re-describing a character from scratch if you need the same face repeatedly.
- Prompt density: fewer, stronger descriptors outperform long lists where individual terms start competing for weight.
If you're prompting in a non-English language, PixAI's prompt tools will translate and refine the input before generation. And once basic prompt structure is second nature, composition, not additional descriptive tokens, is usually what separates a decent output from a striking one.
Running these
All 23 templates run on PixAI as-is. Pick one, drop it in, select an anime model, layer in a reference or LoRA if needed, and generate. Daily free credits are enough to batch-test several variants in one session. I also maintain a larger searchable prompt library if this set isn't enough.
Open PixAI to start testing.
