Publicly disclosing financial or operational indicators without a clear link to the source and calculation methodology isn't fundamentally different from a private claim — the only difference is who hears it. The link to the source doesn't need to be long or technically complex — it just needs to exist and lead to a place where the figure can actually be checked.
