Small-business websites: put one clear CTA above the fold

Most visitors decide in under 10 seconds whether to stay. If your homepage leads with a photo gallery and no next step, they bounce.

A simple rule: put one clear action above the fold — Call, WhatsApp, or Book — before portfolio photos or long copy.

Then keep the rest short:

1. What you do (one line)
2. Who it’s for
3. Proof (a couple of examples)
4. Contact again at the bottom

That’s enough for most local and small-business sites. Fancy animations can wait.
