New: France Companies Search — SIRENE & RNE — ~10M French companies, free & keyless

What it does

This actor turns France's official national business registry into clean JSON. Point it at a company name, a SIREN number, a department or an industry (NAF/APE) code and it returns fully normalized records. It is powered entirely by France's free, keyless government open-data API, which aggregates INSEE SIRENE, the RNE (operated by INPI), and BODACC.

Who it's for

KYC, M&A; and lead-generation teams targeting France, plus EU market researchers who want the same registry the French state publishes - a free alternative to Infogreffe / Societe.com / BvD Orbis.

Sample fields / output

  • siren (9-digit) & siret (14-digit) identifiers
  • company name & legal form (SARL / SAS / SA / EURL / SCI)
  • naf_ape activity code
  • incorporation date & capital in EUR
  • registered office & establishment count
  • directors / officers & registration status

Example use cases

  • Build France B2B prospect lists filtered by NAF/APE industry code or department.
  • Run KYB verification on French counterparties from authoritative state data.
  • Screen M&A; and partnership targets across ~10 million French entities.

FAQ

Is it really free and keyless?

Yes. It runs on France's open-data API (recherche-entreprises.api.gouv.fr) - no API key and no subscription required.

Which official sources back it?

INSEE SIRENE (identifiers & establishments), the RNE / INPI national business register (officers & corporate acts), and BODACC (incorporations, changes, insolvencies).

How do I query it?

By company name, SIREN number, department, or NAF/APE industry code - returning normalized legal identity, HQ, workforce band, directors and status.
