A developer follows your quickstart and gets the first successful result.
What happens next?
They may need to configure production credentials, handle failed requests, understand permissions, or connect the product to an existing application.
These questions don't automatically mean the quickstart is inadequate.
A quickstart is meant to help developers begin. But the implementation usually continues beyond that first milestone.
The important questions are:
- What must developers do next?
- Which new decisions must they make?
- Where might they misunderstand what the product handles?
- Can they find the information they need when they need it?
The answer to these questions can reveal gaps between getting started and completing an implementation.
A successful quickstart is the beginning of the implementation story, not necessarily the end.
