In healthcare machine learning, deployment is often the most challenging phase.
Many models achieve strong performance during development but fail to be adopted in practice.
Key reasons include:
• Poor integration with clinical workflows
• Limited interpretability of model outputs
• Misalignment with decision-making processes
• Lack of trust from end users
Addressing these challenges requires more than technical optimization.
It requires understanding how healthcare systems operate.
My work focuses on applying machine learning with this broader perspective, ensuring that models are both technically effective and practically usable.
