Why Model Performance Alone Is Not Enough in Healthcare AI

In healthcare machine learning, model performance metrics are important but not sufficient.

Key additional factors include:

• Interpretability
• Workflow integration
• Data quality awareness
• Clinical relevance

A model that performs well technically may still fail if it cannot be effectively used in practice.
