At least Microsoft would say so in the 1990s when competing with Linux
PS: If you find it funny, here's a list of other "interesting" views.
But no, mates. Open Source is not communism ;)
"Open-source software can help protect against monopolies. For example, the rise of GNU/Linux, an open-source computer operating system, helped prevent Microsoft from being considered a monopolist.[9] Microsoft considered Linux to be their main competitor during the 1990s.[9] Many computer makers offer Linux or Windows for their users, and a large percentage of mobile phone and tablet operating systems are Android, which is a Linux variant. Not only are monopolies affected, but several other businesses with strongholds are affected. Microsoft Office has open-source competitors such as LibreOffice." (Wikipedia, Open-Source Economics)

Now Microsoft owns GitHub
lol how funny is that?!?
And weird as well cos then you can ask yourself what is microsoft getting out that? How are you a corporate mono political giant and are fuelling a communism tooling system???
lol
This is a fun blast from the past. Fast forward about 3 decades later, open source powers many fortune 500 companies. You would be hard press to find an engineering team that doesn't touch an open source language or framework.
Thankfully!
Ha, and now Microsoft is one of the top open source contributors in the world.
That's funny, hu.
Did you type that you are killing 100+ people in 3 weeks ?
Have you done it already or is it something that is coming ?
I am not the FBI I'm just asking for a friend. lol
Its awesome that you are open for contribution but do not know how disappointed how when i went to so many repos and I could never find anything that resembles the HTML and CSS and of the JavaScript that W3 schools and FreeCodeCamp taught me.
Im distressed may i please find assistance before #OcotberFest ends. I really need to make a honest valuable contribution.
I had to take a break.
Omg, no!! Not killing in any literal sense. I meant we’re growing fast!
I’m sorry to hear you’re not finding repos to contribute. Ours is React, so I guess a little bit more advanced. But don’t give up! There are some good courses on Udemy that are pretty practical. You may find it useful.
Good luck
lol, but humans need greed as motivation to work 😂
