Bengaluru makes small things of high value in very large numbers, and its packing problem is the opposite of most of India. Almost nothing here is heavy. Almost everything here is expensive.
Small units, at scale
Precision engineering and electronics units ship many small cartons. A carton sealing machine keeps every tape line straight and tight, and cuts the time spent taping by hand.
Designing for air freight
Air shipments are charged on volume and weight, so packs need to be compact but protective:
- Right-size cartons, sealed on a machine
- Light strapping for master cartons
- Stretch wrap for consolidated pallets
Electronics: static and cushioning
Anti-static bags and proper cushioning matter more than heavy strapping. The machine is there to close the pack consistently.
Buying from the other end of the country
Check delivery time, GST invoice, phone support and courier spares before you order a machine from another state.
PackForge lists strapping, carton sealing and wrapping machines for the city on its Bengaluru packaging machines page.
