Animal Hospital (Roblox) Beginner Guide: The Four-Layer Evidence Check That Saves Your Shift

Animal Hospital (Roblox) hands you a shift with two jobs: find the anomalies, and save the normal patients. Treat the wrong patient — or reject a healthy one — and the shift goes sideways fast. This walkthrough covers the safe first-shift loop: a four-layer evidence check that keeps you from guessing.

The two jobs

Every shift alternates between spotting anomalies and treating normal patients. The single most important rule: do not begin treatment until the patient passes the evidence check. A symptom alone does not prove the patient is normal.

The four evidence layers, in order

1. Look at the window. Compare eyes, ears, mouth, teeth, body shape, and repeated movement against what a normal patient should look like.

2. Start the photo. Leave it in place until processing visibly finishes. Touching it early gives you an unfinished image — and an unfinished image is not evidence.

3. Open CCTV. While the photo develops, compare the waiting-room camera view with the patient you saw at the window.

4. Read the files. Check the paperwork for any conflict with the patient or the room.

Then decide

  • Reject when you have a decisive anomaly clue.
  • Wait when evidence is unfinished — especially a photo still processing.
  • Admit only when all four layers are clear.

After a clear admit, read the symptom and choose the matching treatment item, then continue the room flow.

If you get stuck

  • Photo shows only static: static alone is disputed. Recheck the visual, CCTV, and paperwork layers instead of forcing a verdict.
  • Photo never appears: treat it as ambiguous. Wait or recheck rather than calling the patient safe.
  • Mouse cursor locked: use the current Roblox menu and camera controls — key bindings differ by device and game update.

Mistakes that cost Sanity (and shifts)

  • Picking up the photo early. An unfinished image is not evidence and may cost Sanity.
  • Treating before clearing the patient. See the rule above.
  • Acting on one disputed clue. Static-only and bug-like states need the other layers to confirm.

FAQ

What should I check first? The live window, then photo, CCTV, and paperwork — in that order.

Is photo static always an anomaly? No safe universal claim exists. Recheck when static is your only clue.

When do I treat? After all evidence layers are clear and you admit the patient.

What if a symptom is not in the finder? Follow the current in-game item labels and treat it as a verify-in-game case.
