We’ve just released a small but important update to the Payra Cash Crypto Payment Plugin for WooCommerce.
Version 1.0.2 introduces support for tracking transaction fees, giving merchants more insight into the on-chain cost of processing payments.
What’s New in 1.0.2
- Transaction fee storage added The plugin now saves the transaction fee in a new database field:
fee_in_wei
This allows you to:
- store the precise network fee used for each transaction
- display it in future analytics or admin tools
- support deeper transaction validation if needed
2. Internal improvements
Along with the new field, the transaction-processing logic has been updated to write fee data automatically. No additional setup is required the migration runs once after updating the plugin.
Why This Matters
Fees in crypto can vary based on network congestion and gas prices.
Having fee information recorded:
- improves debugging
- gives merchants transparent cost breakdowns
- prepares the plugin for advanced reporting features coming in future releases
Update Now
You can safely update to version 1.0.2 the migration is lightweight and runs automatically.
More improvements are on the way. Stay tuned!
