PNTR started as an answer to a recurring developer problem: getting a public hostname should not require a deployment, a paid tunnel, or a pull request. It now combines instant *.pntr.dev subdomains with real DNS records, catch-all test email, persistent webhook capture, and API, CLI, and MCP access. The goal is simple: give developers a stable public endpoint in seconds, then let them manage it from the tools they already use.
