InfinityAR โ€“ Bringing the Solar System to Life with Augmented Reality

Hey everyone! ๐Ÿ‘‹
My name is Pratham Tiwari, and Iโ€™m a Third-year B.Tech Computer Engineering student with a deep love for physics, space, and exploring the mysteries of the universe.

Over the past few months, Iโ€™ve been working on something that combines my passion for space with my interest in technology โ€” InfinityAR.

Check out InfinityAR here ๐Ÿ‘‰ infinityar.com

InfinityAR Website

๐ŸŒŸ What is InfinityAR?
InfinityAR is an Augmented Reality (AR) app that lets you explore the solar system and ISRO rockets in 3D, right from your phone.

The idea came from a simple thought: "What if learning about space could be as interactive as playing a game?"
Instead of reading static text or watching videos, why not let people walk around planets, zoom in on rockets, and learn by interacting with them in real space?

โœจ Key Features
๐Ÿช Interactive Solar System โ€“ View planets in 3D, compare sizes, and learn interesting facts.

๐Ÿš€ ISRO Rocket Simulations โ€“ Visualize PSLV, GSLV, and other Indian rockets.

๐Ÿ“š Educational Content โ€“ Covers not just space but also physics, chemistry, biology, history, and more.

๐Ÿ”ง How I Built It
Unity โ€“ For the main AR experience.

Vuforia โ€“ To handle AR tracking and integration.

Blender โ€“ For creating custom 3D models.

Planned ML Integration โ€“ Iโ€™m working on a built-in AI assistant to answer questions and personalize learning.

๐Ÿ’ก Challenges I Faced
Learning Unity from scratch in a short time.

Optimizing AR so it works smoothly even on low-end devices.

Designing a UI that is simple enough for students but still engaging.

๐Ÿš€ Future Plans
Offline Mode โ€“ So students in rural areas with low connectivity can still learn.

More Simulations โ€“ Deep space missions, satellites, and more interactive experiments.

AI-Powered Learning โ€“ A built-in assistant that can adapt to the userโ€™s pace and style of learning.

๐Ÿ“ข Why Iโ€™m Sharing This
This is my first post on dev.to, and I wanted to share InfinityAR not just as a project, but as a journey โ€” from an idea in my notebook to a working AR app.
Iโ€™d love to hear your ideas, feedback, and suggestions on what features youโ€™d like to see.

If youโ€™re into AR, space, or educational tech, letโ€™s connect! ๐Ÿš€

Thanks for reading!
You can follow me here on dev.to for updates as I add new features to InfinityAR.
Letโ€™s make learning more fun, immersive, and limitless! ๐ŸŒŒ
