Looking for testers: OpenBridge, an open source way to move files between Android and your computer

Hey folks 👋

I’ve been building OpenBridge, a free and open source app for moving files and text between an Android phone and a Mac, Windows or Linux computer. No account, no cloud, nothing leaves your network. Think of it as Phone Link or AirDrop, but open source, private and cross platform.

What it does:

Browse your phone’s storage from your computer, with search, sort, grid view and previews
Drag and drop files both ways, with transfers that resume if they’re interrupted
Connect over Wi‑Fi, the phone’s own hotspot, or a USB cable (Fast USB is the quick one)
Send text and clipboard between phone and computer
Mirror your phone’s screen
Everything is encrypted with TLS and paired with a 6 digit code
Three looks to pick from: Dusk, Aurora and Tide

Where I need help:
I test on one phone and one Mac, and Android phones are a zoo. I’d love reports from:

Different Android brands, especially Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, vivo and Pixel
Windows and Linux machines
Weird networks: phone hotspots, guest Wi‑Fi, office networks

If something breaks, there’s a Copy diagnostics button in the phone app’s Settings. Paste that into a GitHub issue and you’ve made my day.

Stars, issues, roasts and pull requests are all welcome. Thanks for giving it a spin! 🙌
