Is there a way to check the people that I am following?
The reason that I am asking is that I receive notifications for posts from people that I have not selected to follow but who appear to be followed by me! Maybe there is a specific setting that I can toggle to stop that from happening?

For further actions, you may consider blocking this person and/or reporting abuse

You can go to your dashboard -> Following -> Users
There you can see the peopel you are following.
