How Much Percentage Black Film Is Allowed in India?

In India, the legally permitted percentage for black film usage is defined by the Visible Light Transmission (VLT) rules. For a film to be compliant, it must allow at least 70% VLT on the front and rear windshields, and 50% on side windows. Films darker than these thresholds, even if installed by manufacturers, are not allowed under current Indian law. Always verify the VLT rating before applying any tint to avoid penalties.
