I've been working on my scrolling habits as well, and allocating each of my social media platforms to different "jobs" helped.
Instagram is only for fitness/gym/nutrition stuff, Twitter & LinkedIn are only for tech and career stuff, and Facebook is anything that doesn't fall into those categories (like travel adventures and pictures of cute animals). I try to limit my feeds to those categories as much as possible and only check them at times that appropriately relate. Twitter/LinkedIn might be checked once or twice during work hours, Facebook on breaks and occasionally on the weekend, and Instagram when I'm heading to or posting about the gym.
This really cut down my content-less scrolling, and hopefully it provides value to others who follow me because they can choose the 'social me' that most matches the content they want to see!

Your themed approach is a great idea!
At a time I used Instagram only to check picture of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collectables 😅
Haha! That's a fun reason to scroll instagram!
