Our Design and Development Process
All Ohmybebe items are designed by our team in our India head office. Every Ohmybebe piece is developed with durability and care in mind and is closely monitored for quality control throughout the supply chain. This ensures that we not only maintain compliance with relevant Indians and international standards, but that we also meet the high standards of our valued customers.
We create our beautiful pieces in the hope that they will be used through generations of little ones, given as gifts, passed down or donated to others.
Behind the Design
Our Materials
Skilled artisan handcrafting and detailing organic baby clothes in an ethical manufacturing facility.
An item of Ohmybebe clothing begins its life as the finest organic and sustainable fibres that can be sourced. We are constantly striving to improve our fabric's sustainability and performance for the highest quality with the softest touch.
We source materials with certifications such as:
GOTS
GOTS is the leading, most trusted, global standard for textiles made from organic fibres. We use GOTS-certified fabrics in many of our organic cotton and sustainable garments, ensuring they meet the highest environmental and social standards throughout the entire supply chain.

Our Suppliers
We have long standing relationships with a select number of suppliers across India and China that we regularly visit (travel restrictions permitting).
Depending on the materials for the particular development and supplier, we work with supplier's that are certified with:
BSCI certification badge ensuring fair labor, social responsibility and safe production standards.
BSCI
The Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) is a code of conduct that supports companies to drive social compliance and improvements within the factories and farms in their global supply chains. Suppliers are independently audited each year to confirm compliance.
Sedex certification logo indicating ethical and responsible sourcing in manufacturing.
Sedex
Sedex works with businesses to improve working conditions in global supply chains. Suppliers are registered on Sedex for transparency on compliance with relevant standards throughout the supply chain.

Our Packaging
The biggest volume of packaging we use are our inner satchels (the packaging our products are delivered to stores and warehouse in) and our delivery satchels for our online orders. We have transitioned this packaging to be made from compostable cornstarch. Under the right conditions, the cornstarch packaging is compostable and disintegrates.
The compostable, plant-based materials that make up these bags can be fully broken down in your general waste bins, leaving nothing behind but water, biomass and CO2.

What we've achieved so far...
🌿 OhMyBebe’s Commitment to a Greener Future
Reduction of Plastic Coat Hangers
We’ve reduced plastic hanger usage by 85%, switching to flat-packed garments to cut down waste. This simple change helps us minimize plastic consumption and move towards a cleaner, more sustainable future.Transition from Plastic to Cornstarch
Our packaging now comes in compostable cornstarch bags instead of plastic. These biodegradable alternatives protect your baby’s clothes while protecting the planet too — one eco step at a time.Removal of Unnecessary Packaging
We’ve streamlined our packaging by eliminating excess materials like calico bags. Every piece is now wrapped with purpose, reducing waste and ensuring a more sustainable delivery process.Upcycling Fabric Waste
Leftover fabrics don’t go to waste — they’re upcycled into new creations through our in-house initiatives. By reusing every bit of fabric, we turn waste into something meaningful and beautiful.
